Tanjung Puting Legacy Fund Description
|
|
Tanjung Puting National Park is one of the last safe havens for orangutans in Borneo. Orangutan Foundation International helps protect 18% of the park from illegal logging and mining and other unlawful activities. The Tanjung Puting Legacy fund was created to enable OFI to protect additional areas in the park including Pulua Ulin, a virgin dry-ground monumental forest as well as the areas around the Sungai Baung and Sungai Buluh Kecil Simpang Danau rivers.
