Raising money for films starts in your head. I know this from the many unusual films I have seen which were successfully funded and distributed. Originally I called it the “Unknown Factor.” I needed to know why some of the best stories didn’t get made from lack of funding and that drove me to research and write my book for artists to use to finance any art form. The Art of Manifesting: Creating your Future outlines the steps you need to take to get funding and the second half is about filmmakers who used these principals successfully. My interviews showed that filmmakers who truly believed they would fund their film did just that. Yes, they had some tribulations along the way and they overcame them. Daily they were attracting just what they wanted to complete the film. Remember, you need a lot more than money to make a film. Filmmaker’s stories of attracting just what they needed were astonishing to me until I began to think back and find places in my life where I had a clear vision of exactly what I wanted and I had the passion to go after it and found the faith to believe that it was mine and then I had it. I turned a belief into a reality. Actually I did this several times in my life without realizing that I was following ancient principals, the same as many other successful people did before me. That’s when I knew that this ability to manifest or bring something from you mind into your reality works in a certain way. There are a few principals that need to be followed for this to work smoothly. It means that you have your normal left brain “to do” list and then you have your right brain “vision,” based on clearly defined goals and you know how to follow some ancient rules to bring your vision to life.
